Narrow boat trips cross the famous Pontcysyllte aqueduct, the highest and longest on the canal system, and the surrounding Dee Valley is the glorious setting for many outdoor activities such as fishing, mountain bike riding, kayaking, white water rafting, climbing, abseiling, gorge walking, golf and canoeing (canoe hire available locally).

Llangollen is a small town in Clwyd, Wales. It is located on the edge of the Berywn mountains, on the River Dee, and within a few miles of Chirk, Llanarmon Yn Ial, Nercwys, Maeshafn and Graigfechan and is one of around twenty towns or villages in Clwyd in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest official cities are Bangor (population 15,280), Cardiff (population 292,150), and Swansea (which has a population of 169,880 according to the 2001 Census).
As well as being a great place to stay to explore this part of Wales, including the nearby mountains, LLangollen is also noted for the heritage LLangollen Railway which runs steam trains in and out of the station in the centre of the town.
